Can't download plug-ins on IM 8; had them as part of IM 7 before. Why?
Recently downloaded Yahoo IM 8, then suddenly all the plug-ins I had before ( News, Launchcast Music, Answers ) shown in the IM 7 window disappeared. Although the puled-out list shows the plug-ins, but only to explain their functions, not to be attached to the IM. Can any one tell me how to get them back?

In IM 7 you had tabs, not plugins. In Messenger 8 you can find those things as plugins.
Access the plugin picker by clicking on the green puzzle icon that says "Add Plug-ins" (you'll find the button in the main Messenger window that is below your friend's list). Click on the "My plug-ins" tab and you should see there a list of plugins (Launchcast should be there) just click the start button and that should show you the launchcast plugin.
There are many plugins to choose from , so pick what you like.
