Anyone have/had a dog with diabetes?
My dog was recently diagnosed with diabetes about 2 months ago. I was wondering if anyone out there has or had a dog with diabetes? The vet gave us food thats by prescription only and its like $50 a bag and almost $100 for the insulin. What should we expect? Any experiences or input would greatly be appreciated! Thanks!

Do some research about diet for diabetic dogs. If the prescription food is Hills Science Diet there are more nutritious foods available for less money. Good luck
