Can a foot be considered a portrait?

In my photography class we were assigned a project where we have to take a series of portraits that show a story or something about the person. I was wondering if a foot could be a portrait with human like experiences. I plan on taking a picture on a towel, in a car, on pavement, sand then in the water. Guess where he went? The Beach! Anyway would you consider that a portrait or should I just find some person to photograph?

It sounds like you came up with an interesting idea, but you might want to save it for a different assignment. I'm pretty sure the assignment was to teach you about capturing what people usually think of as a portrait; something that shows their face! And make sure the eyes are in focus.

By the way, I like to photograph my feet whenever I go somewhere interesting. I find something that tells more about where I was, like a group picture of everyone's feet on a cobblestone street. Just for something different.

I'm an art teacher and also teach photo. I like your idea- it will stand out from the rest. Just make sure it DOES tell something about the person the foot belongs to- maybe some kind of journey? Not just random feet at random places- really think about how the places the foot is tell a story. It should be clear enough so you don't have to verbally explain alot. Good luck!

Porn is made with the motive of sexual gratification of the objective audience. new child porn is an analogous factor, yet with underage persons. A nudist camp has no longer something to do with intercourse. So based on your description, no this would not be new child porn and you're thoroughly risk-free. have you ever heard of a action picture noted as "exceptionally infant"? that's a 1978 action picture starring a youthful (11 or 12 twelve months previous) Brooke Shields. She has a pair nude scenes (finished, finished frontal nude scenes) interior the action picture, and not utilising physique doubles. The action picture continues to be attainable to purchase. The scenes are of a non-sexual nature, so as that they do no longer seem to be seen new child porn (they're variety of borderline, yet greater on the no longer area than the is area)..
