Yes, there are a couple of professional teams in the Lorraine region.
In the top division, Ligue 1, there's Nancy, who are currently twelth in the table (which is maybe not great, but at least they are doing much better than bigger clubs like PSG and Monaco!).
In the second division, Ligue 2, there's Metz..who are currently top (four points clear with a game in hand) and look like they are going up!

Metz and Nancy are two of the best teams, and Nancy currently plays in Ligue 1.

No, all the truly professional football teams are in America. I don't know if there are any soccer teams in your area.
