You know that look your dog gives you with those irresistible eyes that get you every time?

He gets me to allow him to get on my bed and sleep behind me in the back of my knees. My legs get stiff but he usually gets his way.

My yellow Lab uses those eyes all the time. Usually when he wants to go with me in the truck or swimming. It works every time and he also uses them when he wants food. At times he uses them to get all my attention on him and no one else. The worst is when he knows I am leaving he will lay there just giving me those sad puppy eyes and every now and then he will give a little wimper just so I know he is upset.

I NEVER get that look. Not ever when when he wants cheese or a carrot (two of his favorite treats). Not ever when I'm petting another dog. Not ever when I'm in the no-no room and he can't come in. Not ever when I am talking to someone and have the audacity to not pay full attentin to him. Not ever when I'm leaving and not taking him with me. I don't know what you're talking about...and even if I did, I would NEVER give in to those sweet little eyes, and the ****** head and raised ears. Nope, not me!

She wants a belly rub or she wants me to play tug of war with her.

Sometimes she gives me that look after I spank her when she does something bad. Trying to get me to go down a guilt trip. XD

I take her for a walk or move over so she can have the pillow.

it usually means he wants to go to the barkup window and get some fries!

She loves little bites of pizza and gramcrackers. I can't help but throw her a crumb!!!
