I disagree because I know so many single people out there who live their all their life time all alone. And they are completely happy, content and fulfilled with theirselves. I think because those people aware that family could be your greatest blessing in your life OR your dreadful life curse at the same time.

I have a friend who is single and she says that life is deadly boring as a single. But in family life you don't have time for yourself. All your interests and plans are just placed on a shelf. In my opinion it is all about your views on it.
