Can I keep the male and female dog together even after they have mated?
Can I keep the male and female dog together even after they have mated? They have tied off in their first mating and I think they are supposed to mate again after 24-48 hrs but is it ok to just keep them together or should I separate them after that second mating?

You can keep them together for the next tie but after that then you must separate them. The females dont like to have the males around them. Fights can break out. After her heat is completely over then you can try to reunite them but dont be surprised if she wants nothing to do with him and treats him rather horribly.
If they are living in the same house then you have your work cut out for you. Good Luck!

Yep keep them together the more times they tie the better chance you have os a successfull breeding. If you see the female acting aggressive towards the male it is time to seperate them. She is in Breeding heat right now but in a few days that will pass and she will not allow him to breed and may even hurt him if he trys.

This individual is only asking for advice she / he did no longer ask to be abused with the aid of people who're board with there own pathetic lives that they think of it rather is humorous to annoy them. flow and get an entire life of your individual in case you haven't any longer have been given something superb to assert do no longer say something in any respect. i'm a clean puppy proprietor and my woman only gave delivery the day only before this as quickly as I have been given her 2 days in the past she became from a family individuals who did no longer choose her they stated she became having a phantom being pregnant and that i made a appointment for her at vets yet she gave delivery the night earlier the appointment so now I definitely have 8 canines and while they are all 8 weeks previous they are going to be going to solid residences and that they've all been checked over with a vet and all which incorporate mom are very healthful.

well if you dont want even more puppies then yes i would seperate them because they will more than likely mate again and again... until she isnt in heat anymore... I hope this was helpful!!
