It's Beckham,and it depends who you ask.Some people don't care,some think it's ridiculous,and some are excited.
Personally,I'm excited.I'm a soccer fan and it can be a pain to keep up with anything soccer related if you don't have the internet.They hardly even show anything about it on ESPN...they prefer poker(how that is a sport I don't know).Many are hoping it will give the game's image a boost here.It's been slowly growing more popular over the years and the announcement of him coming over here caused a major spike in ticket sales for the games.So,I'm just crossing my fingers and hoping it'll do some good.

He came for the money and the chance to make more money. I think once he quits soccer that he'll be available to be an actor. He's in LA, and the celebs will flock to him, if they haven't already.
I do think he'll have an impact on USA soccer, much like Pele' did when he came to play. From that, he's worth the $$$$.
