Castration is too good for rapists. They are still alive at that point. Just because their penis is unusable, doesn't mean they won't be able to sexually abuse someone with another part of their body. And let's not forget mental abuse and murder.

There would be less crime in this country if the punishments were harder and included the death penalty.

I support the death penalty for rapists. They'll just do it again if they are alive.

While this may seem like a fitting and rightful punishment for rapists, child molesters etc. What happens when we later find that the perp of such a crime was totally innocent? You going to restore everything that was surgically removed? No you aren't, and no amount of money will make that person whole again.

Rather than stoop to the low levels of a sadistic society in using brutal physical means of punishment. Go one step better and lock them up for the rest of their natural life.

Having worked in the criminal justice system while in the military and a short time in the private sector after retirement, i've seen too many cases where men have been falsely accused and sent to prison by our broken criminal justice system, true they were later released some as many as 29 years after being imprisoned.

No i cannot condone castration of any type for rape, child molestation etc. It goes against my grain not to do this, but having witnessed so many wrongful convictions in recent years we cannot allow this type of punishment to exist in our society.

Who's to determine the degree which would determine castration? Plenty of guys get charged with rape by psycho chicks that regret having sex with him or need an excuse other than "I was really drunk and....".

Violent rapes by force, Sure go for it.

Rape isn't about sex, it's about power. Their power needs to be taken away, not necessarily their penis (leave them with it, but allow no sex).
