8 - 10 depending on how tight you want it to fit.

A waist 28 in jeans is always a size 10. I take a waist 28 in jeans and am a size 8/10 in other clothes. Hope this helps!

your a size 8 an it depends on the cut of the dress cheap ones you might have to go up a dress size but if you buy nice design from good shop your be in an 8..

Size 12, sometimes a size 10. Technically a size 12, but you know vanity sizing lol.

Source(s): OMG, it is not a size 8, I wish! Well, maybe if you are wearing low-rise trousers, but otherwise a size 8 is a 25-26 inch waist max! I have a 27 inch waist and there is no way I can get into a size 8 lol. - 1 decade ago
i would guess you would be about a size 8, you would be better just trying on some clothes and getting a feel for them!

Seems that UK is one size more then US
