What Dr. Seuss character should my 8 year old be?

This Friday my daughters school has to dress up as their fav Dr. Seuss character. Anyone have suggestions on which one would be the easiest to come up with a costume for? I wasnted her to be THing 1 or THing 2 but she said she would be embarrased. She said that will be her last resort! Help please!

Update:

how about Cindy Lou Who? that would be pretty easy i think. just get her a pink nightgown and do her all crazy and up. maybe give her a big candy cane to carry around too.

Everyone is going to be the cat in the hat, every little girl is going to be Cindy Lou Who!

How about something different, like Horton (who heard the hoo) by making a long elephant nose and a tail?

A fish, ("one fish two fish") Sam ("Green Eggs and Ham") Cindy Lou Hoo or Max ("How the Grinch Stole Christmas") Horton the Elephant ("Horton Hatches the Egg") or the fox ("Fox in Socks") Hope everything goes well!

Cat in the hat. How easy is that? Just get the hat and dress up as a cat!

    She could be a Fish...

    You know...

    One Fish,

    Two Fish,

    Red Fish,

    Blue Fish

You could dress her in one solid color (red) and get some childrens flippers and make a hat from some of that poster board stuff (let her be creative with it).

I wish I could remember the book....the one about prejudice. One group had a star on their belly, then the other group wanted to be like them and got a star too. 1st group gets star removed....don't want to be like those folks........and on and on stars on, stars off.

Any way just pin a star to her belly and make sure she has an idea of what it means.
