when is "recently" for the first couple of day your feet will ooze some clear body fluids as well as some kink. after that it will scab up and the scabs will start coming off at about day 6 or seven. it is completely normal for your scabs to come off. your body is healing. just keep it moisturised and don't pick or scratch.

what are u cleaning it with and how are u cleaning it?

do you mean its bleeding ink, or jst the top layer has ink in it?

i have two on my foot, and the first time it happened until i realised that because its jst an inky scab, it looks like the ink is coming out.

when you clean it, dab it, dont rub it. and try using a moisturiser, like E45, to keep it from cracking. try to keep socks off for as long as possible, because ur feet get sweaty and then the tattoo sticks to ur sock, and also the risk of bacteria, etc. hope this helps.

well if it is right after the tattoo and you clean it is just excess ink but give it a few days if you still worried go back to the shop.

p.s. DO NOT use neosporin on a tattoo it will pull the ink up and out neosporin is designed to remove foreign **** in the skin use what they have at the tat shop unless your allergic.

    Hi there!

I have one on the top of my foot and I've never had that problem...

Before I got the tattoo, the tattoo artist told me that with time, the color may fade because it IS on my foot and with wearing socks/shoes, etc...it may. But I haven't seen a difference (whew!)

What I would suggest for you:

First of all, how long ago did you get it done? Give it some time and don't get it wet. Shower with some gauze taped over it and just be careful.

Once it starts to heal and "settle" in, be sure an moisturize it to get it...well..moist.

I can answer from experience. I have not only gotten a tattoo but I perform permanent makeup (cosmetic tattooing). Do not mess with it but it will begin to itch and dry out as it progresses thru healing. During this process if will flake off pieces of healing skin and some of what looks like the ink too. This is only the very top layer of skin (the epidermis). The ink is in the deeper layer (the dermis). It will not go away. Just keep the area moist with Neosporin, or if this irritates it the petroleum jelly (neosporin is good for it but dries it out fast so alternating use of it with straight jelly is what I recommend and use). After the first week or 2 it will look 50% faded on the tattoo, but do not worry. This is normal as it is the skin's way of healing. In a few weeks the color will come back (at about 70-80% of what it looked like when you left the tattoo parlour, and stay that way for years, then it gradually fades --- (sun exposure and lotions that are oil based are biggest fadeds for colors, just fyi). Do not put anything other than Neosporin or petroleum jelly on it until the pinking and healing is complete.

yes its perfectly normal. ive had several tattoos done and the ink will come off a little bit for a day or two. not all of the ink takes on your skin, some just rests on top. just let it be...dont try to wipe it off or anything it will come off on its own. and dont use soap on your new tat until after its healed (exept for the first day) if you have more problems with your ink...go talk to your tattoo artist.

Glen, nothing wrong here at all - this is just the ink that is trapped in that "dead skin" layer that is going to come off.

Yes, that is normal if you just had it done a few days ago. If after a couple of weeks this is still happening, then you may have a problem.

yep its normal you will have 2 lairs of scabing to come off yet mate it isnt the ink its just the colour of the blood and scab

ive never had a tatoo but if you think about it there just injecting ink into the subcutanious layers of skin, not into the blood vessels. so if the hole hasn't healed over yet theoreticly its possible to squeeze a bit of ink out.

just let it heal and if its still bothering you in a couple days ring or go back and ask whoever did it.
