What are pos. & neg. of 9 volt batteries vs. rechargable ones in dog electric collars?

Update:

I am aware of obvious rechargable batteries vs. throw aways. I am wondering if one has better affects or if range is limited in one over the other. I've had e-colar before with rechargable batteries & they go bad because you forget to charge them every month. From what I've found so far, only the receiver has choices. All collars are rechargable from what I've found. Not looking for comments if e-collars are good or bad, jsut their functions with the different types of batteries.

Both of mine, an innotec 500 and a dogtra have the rechargable type of batteries. I have not seen any problems with mine yet, as far as performance. They are both capable of a mile range, but, I have never tried them at that distance. I have used both with excellent results up to 200 feet. My belly collar seems to work the best for long distance control. I hope this helped.

I guess in the long run the rechargeables are cheaper.
