Does anybody know of an easy craft to make and sell?

My favorite thing to buy at craft shows are homemade dish cloths that are crocheted. They're the absolute best, in my opinion, and I'm always stocking up.

My suggestion? Go to craft shows and steal ideas from other people. That is what my mother in law does and she always makes a killing. LOL.

Oh....the items she sells like hotcakes? Things like choco covered apples, choco covered pretzels, etc.

My mom used to make little baskets that kinda look like wishing wells you could put in your bathroom. Or realy anywhere. But anyways she made them out of popsicle sticks. And then she would put lace or fabric or other crafts around them. She would use glue sticks to hold them together.

You could sew potholders. It's not quite "household supplies", probably, but I've heard it's pretty easy to make earrings - you can get everything you need for them at a craft store.

Use old jeans -- pant legs and pockets -- sew on straps and buttons or hooks to close it. Make them into purses. Decorate, of course, with all kinds of neat stuff: sequins, flowers, beads, lace, and trinkets. Make all sizes, and things that will appeal to different ages and needs. Have fun and good luck.
