What ingredient in grape Powerade makes your stool turn green?
Grapes may be green but grape Powerade is purple.
It is the Powerade that's doing it. I've done tests, at first I thought it was some antibiotics I was on but then it happened again. All three times it's happened have coincided with drinking grape Powerade in quantities larger than 20 ounces per day.

Do yourself a favor and don't drink Powerade period.
As far as I know the colorings (aka toxins) in Powerade are just filtered out of your body, hence why your urine/stool is green. Things like beta carotene stay in your body have have the potential to turn your skin orange (I'm not sure if it's actually beta carotene or if is converted into Vitamin A or what.)

blue dye in powerade will turn green in urine and possibly stool. I am a physician

i dont think it's because of Powerade.maybe something else you consumed at the same day.
