Marvin hagler vs Thomas Hearns-The most brutal 3 rounds you'll ever see!
Marco Antonio Barrera vs Erik Morrales 1-12 rounds of toe to toe nonstop action!
Muhummad Ali vs. Joe Frazier 3-The Thrilla in Manilla was the best heavyweight title fight ever!
George Foreman vs. Ron Lyle- A heavyweight Hagler-Hearns with multiple knock downs by each fighter. A true slugfest!
Aaron Pryor vs Alexis Arguello 1- A back and forth battle between two of the best fighters of any era. An all out war!
I guarantee that you and your buddies will enjoy these fights! Get the popcorn and beer ready!

That depends on what you prefer. If you like the technical side of the sweet science, you should look for some Joe Louis, Sugar Ray Robinson, Ali, Larry Holmes, or Billy Conn fights. Defensive mastery would definitely have Willie Pep at the top of the list, Emile Griffith, Buster Mathis Sr., Rocky Grazziano, and Kid Gavilan. Power would be almost any heavyweight from the 70's golden era, Jack Dempsey, Jake LaMotta, Archie Moore, Rocky Marciano, Roberto Duran in his early stages, John Mugabi, and Dick Tiger.

Any of the old classic championship fights would do. Or any championship boxing fight is fun and great to watch with friends. I clearly enjoyed all the Hagler, Leonard, Hearns, Chavez, Duran, De Lay Hoya, Sweetpea Whittaker, Tyson, Klitscho, Lewis, Holyfied, etc fights when aired pay per view or on tv.

In my opinion, the very best films of fighters that one should watch with their friends are, anything with Sugar Ray Robinson, especially his fight (6) with Jake Lamotta. Sugar Ray was truly poetry in motion. Early Cassius Clay, not Ali, when Clay came back as Ali he did lose some speed, he spent the whole first half of his career not wanting to get hit and the second showing everyone he can take it then Ali vs Frazier these three epic battles are legendary. Tommy Hearns vs Marvelous Marvin Hagler, this fight was beautiful brutality.
If the people that you watch these with aren't fans of boxing, they will be before the night is over.
Thanks for the question Flif.

Well around here (near Youngstown area) everyone wants to see the classic Ray "Boom Boom" Mancini fights. It doesn't matter who his opponent is it is good to see the local guy do good I guess. Until Kelly Pavlic steps up and gets a title shot with Jermaine Taylor or is able to squeak a victory over Edison Miranda Mancini is still the most talked about in these parts.
Other than that a classic Tyson knockout or Hollyfield fight usually goes over well. (Unless they are big boxing fans they just seem to want to see the heavyweights which is ok with me I can watch the smaller guys by myself :o) )

Hagler-Hearns, Gatti-Ward fights. Joe Louis-Schmeling 1 and 2. Fighters in general to watch are Hearns, Ray Leonard, Hagler, Duran, Aaron Pryor, Wilfred Benitez. You absolutely have to watch Beau Jack vs. Ike Williams. Williams beats Jack to an inch of his life. but Jack will NOT go down.

Saw this a few days ago decided to answer. Any Ali fight before his hiatus. Any Frazier - Ali fight. Ali - Foreman.
Any Frazier fight except his with Foreman. Same could be said with Foreman just not him fighting Frazier.
Any Roberto Duran fight. Any Hearns or Benitez fight. Any Arguello fight. Any Ray Leonard or Hagler fight.
Any Michael Spinks light heavyweight fight.
These are some classic fights.

Which by the way he has listed and available on his sight. All the fights I've listed I've gotten from this website. Good viewing for you and your buddies.
