Fellow New England Patriots fans...Jamal Lewis to back up Maroney...Should we?

Lewis does have some legal baggage, but is a veteran who would be a quality backup to Maroney...They do still have Kevin Faulk...

It's my thought that being a professional athlete in this country is a privilege. Playing a kids game and making millions of dollars doing it. The least these athletes can do is act like human beings and not animals. No one seems to care that these lowlifes break the law. They continue to be given chance after chance after chance. Enough is enough. I don't care how good Lewis is either as a starter or in a back up role. I wouldn't have him on my team even he wanted to pay me to play. I just wish these franchises would take a stand and do what is right for a change and not what will benefit them financially. Cincinnati, for example, should fire everyone of those criminals and get some decent human beings to replace them. They are basically asking the fans to support these scum bags. That's wrong!!

No, they should try to go after Rhodes or one of the cheaper running backs. Lewis will ask for too much money and will require too much playing time.

They will definitely need a quality big back to complement Maroney because I am still not convinced that Maroney can stand the punishment of carrying the ball 25-30 times a game for 16 games. Faulk is a good pass catching back, but not that good between the tackles.

No give maroney the nod at full time starter. He has a great future and kevin faulk is a good 3rd down back.

No because all he would do is complain about how he isnt getting enough carries. I think maroney by himself will be able to carry the load this year.

I don't think the patriots should take him the patriots already got enough running backs they and if they do take him it will be a waste of money because hes not the player he once was.But you don't have to listen to me this is just my opinion

No they wont pay the money to take him away from Baltimore because he wants to go back.

Yeah. he'd be a great fit for the Fats. They need another over the hill loser.
