Unless your bf is 9 years old :-) , men don't grow big down there after puberty. I guess it's some allergy or infection on your side.

you could be shrinking? are you using a alum in your privates..?this could be friction on his part as you are not lubricated enough..try some KY JELLY or vaseline but be careful as these can cause your rubbers to break down if you are using them for birth control..also try oral or awhile..do you ever use a vinegar douche? its will help your inflamed privates..and don't let him be a bushwhacker..this hurts too

i get like that sometimes maybe you just need to wait a few days or week before intercourse, it helps me sometimes. or maybe you have an infection and ever thing is swollen. so maybe if you wait a while and it still hurts you should see your doctor.
