No way he shouldn't retire. Just because he's going through a bad patch (possibly it's a permanent one) doesn't mean that he should stop playing snooker. He could still sell out any town hall with an exhibition contest and make a few thousand quid a time doing it. What else is he gonna do? TV pundit? No chance. Open a sports shop? Hard work and luck required.
No he should keep doing what he's done before by being the most entertaining snooker talent of the last 20 years. He will still occaisionally qualify for major tournaments just like Steve Davis does.

I'm also a Jimmy fan and yes it is time he retired so that he will always be known as the Peoples Champion if he keeps playing he could end up a hasbeen and we dont want that to happen.

He's still and probably always will be up there amongst the great names of snooker and as long as he still enjoys being an entertainer of the highest order then I don't see the need for him to retire.
He maybe has to work to pay for his lifestyle..... don't we all?.....who knows and is it really any of our business?
