Of the grades 1 - 12, which is the one you recall hating the most? Briefly, what's your story?

I had so much fun in school that I really didn't hate any year. I do remember not liking 1st grade because I got a detention for laughing uncontrollably in church (Catholic school). I thought school was going to be tougher than I originally thought. I was wrong. That pretty much set the benchmark for me having fun from there on out.

For me and my family school grade of torture was/is Grade 7. Surly puberty factors in there somewhere. The same has been true of the kids I am raising. Out of 7 we have sent 3 through 7th grade. Big screw up year for all of them so far. When number 3's teachers called for a conference the ex and I laughed out loud and exclaimed "oh crap, he's in 7th grade, here we go again."

Oh my god I hated the fourth grade. When I was little my parents moved around a lot and I went from having a nice teacher to an evil witch. Yeah I hated it!!!! :)

I hated 9th grade because of my Guidance Counselor. She was always there, everytime I was in the halls, bathroom, or at my locker and even the cafeteria. I figured it out, she intimidated me and everytime I saw her I thought I was in trouble. It got better the rest of my years in high school, but I will never forget her.

hmm, I can't think of just one..the first one I hated was 3rd because my teacher was terrible...then I loved fourth because I had the best teacher ever..I was pretty happy in 5th and 6th but I hated 7th-8th and then I loved all my highschool years, they were the best.

Maybe 10th? I didn't really hate school or anything any year... but this is probably the age where insecurities were hightened for me.

Either my 2nd or my 4th.

In 2nd, I had a mean teacher.

In 4th, we moved around a lot, and the kids at my new school weren't nice toward me.

Probably 10th, had a miserable time in my world history and chem class. horrible teachers.

5th grade, the kids in school would call me ugly fat and that my legs were ugly they also said i smelled... :( sometimes when i was in my hometown i would see them around and i would still be disturbed by them although i am succesful now... but that was the worst year ever...

12th...because females...are EVIL. (Oh yeah, and I had extensive surgery as well..but eh..who cares?)...and 6th wasn't to hot either cause I was the second to last girl to shave her legs and we had to wear skirts everyday. Mum wouldn't let me. (Perhaps too much info?)
