What happened in the car?

A man and a woman are driving along a country road on a cold winter night when the car breaks down. Before leaving to find help, the man tells the woman not to open the doors or windows and not to let anybody in. He leaves, and she does as he says. When he returns, she is dead and there is a stranger in the car. What happened?

    She gave birth while he was gone and died during childbirth.

    She never got in the car she could not open the doors or windows the stranger came and killed her and tried to escape in the car when the man got back he saw his lady dead and a stranger in the car. Good One, impressed with that i ain't got a clue if that's not the answer.

    Well no-one else has said it so i might be completely off...but what is the stranger was already in the car? like hiding? lol she wouldn't be able to open the doors or windows to escape? Probably not the answer you're looking for i know...but an idea none the less.

    Someone went through the sun roof and killed her and is now in the process of hotwiring the car and running off with it.

    She was pregnant, went into labor, gave birth to a "stranger" and died.

    she farted so much she intoxicated herself and the good Samaritan tries top help her by breaking a glass and trying to give her CPR, but he was too late.
