Emotionally, this is a bit complicated since simply dropping everyone and looking elsewhere may not completely solve the dilemma you have found yourself in. If you know you are still going to be more desirous of being with the guy who has the girlfriend than of being with his best friend, then you would be unfair to his friend and to yourself to pursue that. You have options, but you may not like them. One of which is simply to find another attractive guy to pursue who has no girlfriend and who finds you atractive too. If you really do find the friend attractive and choose to pursue him, then try to be loyal and fair about it. The guy with the girlfriend has no right to any say in it because he already has someone.

You need to decide what your priorities are and stick to them no matter what anyone else thinks because you will have to live with the decisions you make. Just try to be honest with yourself and with whomever you choose to be with.

this guy doesnt seem worth it...he has a girlfriend and having him tear up his relationship for you will just end up ugly >< I say forget him and the best friend and go find someone new. Join a club or something and maybe you'll find a cute guy you truly like.
