out of town, lost drivers license!?

Help! I've lost my license, & I'm out of town, & I have a flight in a few days! I have no passport, no other form of ID, & I'm not in my state of residence either, so I can't get any replacements. How can I board a plane without a license?

Go to this page (http://www.dmv.org/replace-license.php) and click on the state where your license was issued. Cross your fingers because not that many states have spelled out specific processes for replacing your license when out of state, but if it's there then you'll have your answer. If that process is not there then use this page (http://www.dmv.org/dmv-phone-numbers.php) to get the number to your home state DMV and give them a call to find out your options. Good Luck!

Sure you can -- having placed a question on yahoo answers indicate that you have a computer and on-line services. Go to your state Department of Motor vehicles and request a electronic copy of your drivers license. No big deal, it's done everyday. Have your credit card ready because they will want the fees up front and you will need to answer some personal information to verify that you are who you say you are. They can either fax you a copy or e-mail it to you. Don't sweat the small things in life, threes always a way.
