Try poistive reinforcement or even try to make it interesting for your daughters likes. For me and my brother we hated history and to get us to get anything to do anything Shed Say "The Irish beat the Scottish`s asses." Not like that though untill shes older lol.

i usually get involved with my kids on a subject ,we go to the library and look online etc... find all u can and really get into it yourself, then make school work a priority,i make my kids do homework before phone,Internet and anything else, help but don't do .if she asks how to spell things say lets look it up.and help her look don't just give it to her,to talk to her teachers ,ask for ideas they will give you insight into upcoming things to study for where she needs help and how to help. take her friend along when doing some of the library research stuff if its made to be fun it will be ..some times we go to a fast food place and just hang out doing home work and drinking soda or eating, the key is make it interesting to learn. go to museums check you area there are usually more than u know about, have fun

Try Sylvan or some type of tutoring sessions. I think if you make learning fun and interesting she will love it.
