What do you think of the new glass bottomed walkway that extends out over the Grand Canyon? Would you pay $25 to go out onto it?
Here are some pictures of it

I think that it would be a cool experience, you could see the canyon at a totally new perspective. But I would not pay $25 to walk out there, I would need to get more for my money than just a different view

It looks interesting, though not worth $25. Throughout the years, the Grand Canyon has become too much of a money pit. You pay for so much more now that people could see for free 20 eyars ago, and although kind of cool, this glass-bottom walkway seems just like that. It disturbed the natural land to build it just to charge people money for seeing somehting that should be free. Many people are scared of glass-bottom things too, so it will be interesting to see how this pans out.

It's an atrocity. What I don't get is how those Indians own the grand canyon. And with all the govt. handouts they get why are they so poor. One of my uncles married an Indian woman and they get big checks from the govt. several times a year. They also build them nice houses. There is a reservation real close to where I live in Kansas and they sure have it made. As for me, no way could I walk out on that thing hanging in mid-air. Way too scary.

I live in Tucson and I wouldn't pay a dime to walk out on a piece of plate glass dangling over a gigantic cliff! I thought the idea was stupid when they proposed it several years ago. It opens sometime this week and I won't be among those who waste their money to do something that will only serve to scare the crap out of you.
The only good it will serve is to provide income for the Native Americans who reside on that reservation.

Crock o' shite. Going out a few feet is gonna give you just about the same view as standing on the vertical cliff.

on TV, I saw someone say "This is the 9th World Wonder". It could perhaps be that. I just think it is scary. I don't see how it could possibly enhance the experience of seeing massive mountains and space.

no. the price is absurd. I cna't belive they are chraging people. you do have to pay to get into the park. that is good enough. I don't think they should have built this in the first place. It ruins the view.
