I don't think you're still a virgin. Don't worry about what your friend and some of the people on here think. Obviously that level of intimacy means something. Who cares if there isn't a penis involved? I think there are a lot of people in the same situation as you are, and ultimately the only thing that matters is what you think.

I'm confused because you HAVE had sex with a woman but I would consider you a virgin... and that doesn't make sense... so I dunno. That's weird... you've definitely had sex with a woman but you haven't been with a man so you are still a virgin. Hmm...

Just because you haven't had intercourse doesn't mean that you are still a virgin. You *have* had sex with another person, so you obviously are not a virgin.

Once you have sex with someone (intercourse with a guy or sex with a girl), you are no longer a virgin in my book.

No I'm in the same boat you are. To me a virgin is someone who hasn't had sex and I have had sex. Just not in the way they think of it. But sex is sex and yeah, your friend just doesn't get it.

Why are we still labelling women as virgins? Are we still selling to the highest bidder and stoning them if they decide to have sex?

I do agree that your friend doesn't get it. Her opinion does not matter. Yours is the only opinion that matters. You are right about your own sexual status. It might be frustrating that she doesn't get it, and she is invalidating her experience. However, you could choose to look at it another way- Isn't sad that she thinks the penis/vagina thing is more important than the intimacy? what does that tell you about her sex life?

That reminds of a scene from "Chasing Amy." Many people think a woman is no longer a virgin once the male sex organ penetrates. I disagree. I think sex is sex whether it be with a man or a woman.

In most situations you would only be considered not a virgin if you had physical intercourse, ie a penis penetrating your vagina. This is a very limited definition of virginity, as 'virgin' really means someone who is pure.... in other words to me someone who has not experienced anything sexual. All these things really shouldn't matter to you. Whats impotent is your sexual pleasure, weather your virginity is in tact or not!!!

i think as long as you have broken the seal in contact with another person, and if you consider it pleasurable than you are not still a virgin.
