I have got a translator from FRANKLIN. It is very good. I like it because it has so many words you can look up. And mine is talking. So if I do not know how to say a word, my translator speaks it.
And I think it is also good because you can buy other cards for other languages. Most translators either are only for one language or have 12 (or more) different languages but less words for each language.
And another good thing is that you can also learn with Franklin translators and you can create a word list.
And some Franklin-translators you can link to your computer and load stuff from the internet on them. But with my you can't.
If you wanna know which is the best of all Franklin-translators, I cannot really tell you which one it is, because I haven'T tried out all of them! :-)
But I would choose one that can "talk"... and one that has the BOOKMAN-Cards. Because then you can exchange the cards and put in some other languages.

I agree with Mc-Fly above. The Franklin products work very nice. But here is another recommendation. You can buy a Palm Z22 PDA from Best Buy and go to Palmgear.com or Handango.com and download the dictionary of your choice usually for around $20 for your PDA. This works out nice because usually you can download a free trial of anything and see if you're going to like it before you buy the full version. Be sure to check the memory requirements first though, and be sure your PDA can hold it. It would be a little better if you can afford a PDA that accepts memory cards. I have Franklin's Merriam Webster's Dictionary and Encyclopedia Britannica for my PDA. Both are on cards and have really been a joy to use. You can also download books to read on your PDA and many of those are actually free!
I hope this helps! Good luck!!

you are able to in many circumstances get a noticeably good one for $40 at OfficeMax or OfficeDepot. Mine got here with a dictionary and a be conscious record, and one in all my pals have been given a similar one that got here with a translator besides.
