Couples Negril, Negril is a very laid back town and its has seven miles of white sand beach. It one long "hip strip" and its awesome. The hotel has a beautiful pool.

A great website to research resorts is TripAdvisor.com. There you can read dozens of trip reviews on both resorts (and hundreds more), view "candid traveler photos" that some of those visitors posted, read the resort amenities, and ask questions in the "forums" section. You can also learn about other activities the area offers. It is a great website and will make for a "no bad surprises" trip.
