If I were an office manager?

If I were an office manager and I told an FBI agent about a crime that didn't take place, would a special prosecutor be hired and would I be tried and found guilty and sentenced to five years in jail?

Oh you'd be in a heap of trouble that's for sure!! Filing a false crime report is a felony (must have been a big enough crime to involve the FBI). Last time I looked, a felony wasn't taken too lightly.

You will be appointed a court date and they will judge your case and punishment accordingly.

I don't know about special prosecutor being hired, but it would be idiotic to lie to the FBI. And yes, you could be tried, found guilty and go to jail.

Not sure about all the other stuff, but you would be an idiot, that is for certain.

Maybe you are an idiot. Only a complete moron would even make that up.

    Hope that helps.

You must be one of those muppets. Give a reason as to why you would want to do this, unless you are an attention seeker.

No, but you would probably lose your position.

If you were, you did, others didn't, they would, you would, you could and you might. DON'T DO IT!
