John Henry, the owner of the Redsox, purchased 50% of Jack Rouch's Racing Team. Roush is still in charge of all racing operations, but now the 2 businesses are married. They will do cross promotions and you will see Sox logos on race cars and Nascar advertisements at Sox games.
Henry paid 50 Million for the rights and now the race team is called Roush Fenway Racing. NASCAR and especially the Nextel Cup series is growing and this certaintly doesn't hurt.
