Do any of the younger folks like classic rock,or just not ? If so what?

the best bands are the prog bands (pink floyd, greatest band of all time, yes, rush, king crimson, gentle giant, not genesis though). then comes the acid rock, starting with early pink floyd stuff, then the acid test music and the beatles and all them. then the 70's stuff, and finally the 80's stuff. early punk is up toward the top too (ie the ramones, dead kennedys), but the top bands were pink floyd, led zeppelin, the who, the beatles, hendrix, yes,& rush in that order

I'm a teenager who enjoys classic rock and many friends at my school do also. My top 5 favorite bands are 1=Pink Floyd, 2= Led Zeppelin, 3=The Doors, 4= Guns N' Roses,5=Queen.

I think rock bands now a days have nothing on the old rock bands. Rock is dead as of now. That's why when it comes to current music i'll rather listen to other genres then rock.

I love what some people are listing as "classic." I don't think 80's is classic. I think young people listen to a variety of music. I'm 22 and most of my friends listen to the same stuff I do, ranging from 60's rock and roll, to today's punk and rap stuff, and everything in between.

Well I am 27 if you consider that younger. I like quite a bit of classic rock, well it's classic to me anyhow lol.

Mostly stuff from the 70's. I grew up with my dad listening to the BeeGees, Genesis, and the J. Geils Band.

I am 17 but i get told all the time that i was born in the wrong decade!

i listen to only classic rock, most new stuff has no meaning to the lyrics and they use computers to get most of the sounds they use...all in all, the quality of music from "back then" is much better than now.

I like some classic rock bands like The Police, Aerosmith, Nirvana, Pearl Jam and others and I'm 15.

I'm 17 and i listen to classic rock along with a lot of the newer stuff. some of my fav classics are Janis Joplin and Aerosmith. Actually quite a few "Young" people listen to the classics.

I'm 24 and I love it. Janis.. I have 3 of her albums. Bob Seager Silver bullet Band, Eagles, Steve Miller Band, J Geils, Jethro Tull, Cat Stevens, Violent Femmes (not really classic) of course Jimi, Fleetwood Mac, and the Doors. I love it, the music meant so much.

I'm 28 and classic rock is my favorite. The Beatles are my favorite band, but I also love Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix, Chicago, CCR, Billy Joel, and a lot of others.

I'm 21 and it's the majority of what I listen to, I LOVE IT. I probably couldn't tell you the names of any modern bands (excluding country) - my taste and knowledge pretty much ends in the mid-80s!
