tea cup is just a term used for the runt. It's not a breed, or any special type of dog. It's a runt.
As a runt, "teacups" can have many medical problems. And, there's no real gaurantee that a "Teacup" puppy won't grow to full size anyways.
If you still want one, it varies from dog to dog, but it's normally one quarter to half the normal size.

In a china shop they have many kinds of teacups to pick from. As far as a live dog? There are no "teacup" dogs - those that claim so, are backyard breeders and puppy mills with inferior dogs, tons of medial and genetic problems and a short lived dog that will end up costing you thousands in medical bills. If you want a Shih Tzu puppy - you buy one from a REPUTABLE breeder who shows their breeding dogs, genetic health tests, and gives you at least a 2 yr health guarantee. And expect to pay $800 + for a pet quality pupppy. Do your researach.

There is no such thing as a Teacup anything, so this question is impossible to answer. Anyone selling a teacup dog should be run from as they are using poor quality pets to pop out litter after litter so that they can make money.
