Where do web designers do the majority of there work?

It is for a project about my career choice. I need to know where I would work. Examples are like the office, your house, a librarry, the server room.

    It really depends. If you work in an office than you would do a majority of your work in the office. If you work at home, you would probably do a majority of your work at home. I'm not sure how else to answer this question.

    Well i currently work as a programmer that writes web applications(not exactly web designing). I do all of my programming in the office and usually do reading/researching about programming tools at home, but 95% of the work is done in the office.

    OK, not to be a wise guy but, web designers do the majority of their work on a computer!

    Now, where that computer is located is dependent upon several issues.

    Web design offers alot of choices for the programmer. Is he/she employed for a company, if so then they probably do work in the place designated by that company. If they are contractors they work under the specifications of the contract.

    If they are totally independent web designers they work where they want to work.

    Many designers these days work for themselves and work where they want to work. Kind of cool ain't it.
