The best eyeliner?

I use eyeliner but it seems to go away within a couple hours, or either smears under my eyes. So am I just buying cheap eyeliner? Or am I puttin it on wrong? I put it on th line of my eyes, not under my bottom eyelid. And the eyeliner I have is like a soft crayon almost the you just twirl the bottom to make eyeliner come out if oyu run out.

i used to have the same problem! but.. i found out MAC powerpoint eyeliners work wonders! they stay put for a whole stay. and they're smudge-proof & water-proof as well.. they're about $14 i think.. a bit more pricey, but worthed if you're an eyeliner fan! also.. you should prep your eyes with mattifying foundation on ur lids. and use a same colored shadow over your liner to make them stay more.. sometimes those oil glands on your lids make the eyeliner slide.

The best way to keep eyeliner on your eye is to prep your eyelid first. Use a translucent powder on your eyelid before you put on the eyeliner. Use some of that powder under your eye too. Also, if you use a powder eye shadow, it will help keep the liner on the eyelid.

I am partial to MAC cosmetics. the eyeliners are soft and seems to "glide" on without scratching your eyelid

i used to have the same problem for my upper eye lid till i found MACs paints. they come in tubes, if you choose a neutral colour for your skin tone, apply before you put on any shadow or liner then believe me it will stay on all day, also prevents your eye shadow from caking in the crease of you eye lid.

No matter what kind you use it will always end up in the corner of your eyes if you continue using it on the inner side of your lashes!
