How can I grow Pathos in the basement?

I am assuming you mean "pothos". They grow well in almost any light above 50 degrees F. Preferably near a window if your basement has one. If not, Home depot sells small grow lights and light timers for real cheap. Hook those up to an outlet that is always on, set the timer for 12 hours on 12 hours off and it will grow if you set it under this light.

Go down to the basement, turn out the lights, and sit and think about how no one loves you. Wait and see how long it takes for people to find you and use that as confirmation you aren't loved. Keep doing this until you feel you have enough pathos.
Sorry, thought that was funny. To answer your question Pathos is very easy to grow and propagate. If you have window wells in your basement for some natural light position the plants near these, if not invest in some plant lights. Water and feed as you would normally. If you live somewhere that experiences permafrost you might want to leave a door open or a light bulb on just for the heat it'll add to the room. These plants are hard to kill, they'll start to yellow and curl well in advance of their dying.

Purchase a "plant light" at any discount mart...wal-mart, Meijers..home depot...and such.
