This team is sick.  You have a premium offense.

I personally think Piazza is nearly done.  He's become an injury and fielding liability.

You have a fair number of injury risks, but I would suspect most will pan out.  Guerrero still doesn't have much protection in the lineup, so he may not be what you expect.

Lackey is a workhorse, but I would look to upgrade him as the season progresses.

I would roll with this team as is, and tinker later.  Good solid draft...

To tell you the truth, there isnt much of a weakness. I would start prince fielder over delmon young in the U spot. And you have to many RP pitchers starting. One of those brewers pitchers would be a great throw in instead of tom gordon. Bush or Cappy is going to be a 13 game winner. It will help your roation, believe me Rivera and Jenks should do it for you saves wise. Overall I'll give you a 8.99-9. Very good draft

Kinda like your team.  Gives me those warm Fuzzies.  

I would say thou you need to Probobly upgrade at first base.  I love sheff but hes and injury risk.  Secondly if you can upgrade your catcher.  Piazza is good but I dont think he is ever going to be the Piazza of Old.  Other than that this team is very very good baring injuries you should take first or 2nd place in your league

Catcher is OK, but if you can find better I would go for it. Maybe add one more good hitter to your team just incase Delmon Young is a flop. You're missing one more good pitcher in place of Rich Hill.

RUN THE CITY · Answer

Your hitters are close to ideal. I think one more power hitter you suite you well. Maybe for one of your all around guys (Guillen, Rios, Young)

For pitching I would go for one more closer and get rid one of the Brewer boys, Bush is a ERA monster and both won't help you much with wins.

Overall though, you have a pretty salty team. I would take them : )

I would suggest another closer.  You might be ok, depends on how Gordon does this year.
