If you want the real scientific answer, we have no clue. We are just beginning to understand how the brain works. There are some small studies that show that children have a better ability to dream about things that are prophetic. Give us 20 years and we will be better to have some answers about this. As a professional I do not put much into these kind of dreams in therapy, but that is just me. I have some peers that work well in this area. I know that's not an answer to your question but I would not be too worried. Keep an open mind and we may answer that question in your lifetime.
