As a step parent I'll give you real advice. Never marry a woman with kids. You will never feel like a family. All the hype is B.S. You have no legal authority here either. Your screwed pal. Bottom line forget about it and move on. Why? Because in the end you are actually nothing more than a provider not a real parent.

Not enough information to really help you out. The age of the child is a factor. How long was he with you. Why was he away from his parents to begin with. You need a good family law attourney to help you and ask the judge to stipulate in the court order for you to have monthy visits. If they don't comply, then they are in contempt of court. Good Luck

So he was taken away by his mother and step father? Doesn't his father have visitation rights? How old is the child and how long did you care for him? Why did they take him? I guess we need more info to know what all is going on.

well he was your step son....legally you don't have much to stand on...go on with your life unless you feel this child is in any type of danger and in that case call the authorities

first of all how old is he? if he's young, let it be and he will find you when he's older.
