(1) Parecer is the root form of the verb, and it means "to look like". The Spanish suffix "-se" turns the verb into a reflexive form, involving some sort of comparison, but there is no difference between them.
You can say "Parece que va a llover (It looks like it is going to rain)" and "Los hijos suelen parecerse a sus padres. (Children tend to look like their parents)"
(2) It means either "it is too late for me to do something i had to" or "I forgot something."
(3) The verb "ser" is related with a constant situation: "he always pays attention"; The verb "estar" is used for a specifical situation: He pays attention just now, not always.

parecer is to look like, and parecerse is to look like yourself...
se me ha ido el santo al cielo is when you fotget something that you must remember.
the other question is...
"es atento" is a form of be, and "esta atento" is a form of to be in a moment.

(1)is the same :you are like a monkey, for example.you are like something.
(2) means that when someone is talking to you ,you are not paying attention, or that you cant remember something because you were thinking in other things.
(3) es atento: means that he is a gentleman,take care of your needs. está atento:he is paying attention.or that he cares about something( está atento/se preocupa de...)

1, when you have a verb with se at the end of it, it's an action you do to yourself, ex. lavarse is to wash one self, et cetera
