Do you think heavy metal artists should do power ballads. I think its o.k as long as thats not all they make, because some of them are pretty good.

I agree with XAT, true heavy metal bands don't do ballads. The closest I can think of is "This Love" by Pantera.

Metal and Power ballads are two diferent types of songs, I would say a true 100% metal band will not play Ballads

I'm not sure why they call them power ballads. Fade to Black by Metallica, for example. Does a ballad actually include suicide as the subjuct of the lyrics? Sounds like a misinterpretation of music terminology doesn't it?
