why is my tongue have a lot of deep cuts and really hurts at times.?

i went to 2 doctors and they said it was nothing or that people just have different kinds of tongues. I think its more???

    You should try using a strong mouth wash to kill bacteria.

    I would see your dentist- you might be biting on your tongue while sleeping or actually when you are chewing food and you don't realize it until you drink something warm to make it hurt- you may have a few teeth or one specifically that has a sharp edge that is cutting your tongue.........good luck

    No, they are wrong. You are having Acute Vit Bcomplex deficiency. Get supplemented for at least one year & clean your tongue softly. You can apply glycyrine to it at night. It will be cured but it will keep on comming back if you don't take

    Vit B complex.

    everynight or morning

    rinse your mouth with perioxide

    swish in your mouth and spit it out

    see if you get some relief from that. i know when i has some dental work done

    i used that and it healed my tongue and the pain was gone within a day or so .I feel your pain get well soon:))))

    Google geographic tongue. My roomie in college had it and it sounds like what you are describing.

    get a test for HPV I knew some one who had the same problem and he toll me he had the virus.(human papiloma virus)

    are you low on vitamins or is your hemoglobin (blood count low?
