select the category Archive (left hand side)

make sure Yes, save all my message had been selected

if its not enabled you wont be able to get prior conversations, but you can enable it for future sessions, simply select

"Yes, save all my messages"

hit Apply, hit OK

if it was enabled, you can open all the archives within yahoo messenger itself (when you are signed in)...

right click a username in your friends list and select Message Archive

and u will get the addresses of all the ppl with whom u had chat in the past

Unless you saved your old ones, then you cannot see them. If you are talking about offline messages, then as soon as you log on to y messenger then they should pop up. Other then that you will not be able to read them.

with aim, if you don't save a conversation as a log, you can't. If you use trillian (which includes aim,msn,icq,yahoo messengers), as a default all conversations you have are saved in a history .txt file. Very convenient.
