Whats the easiest way to strip paint from a wooden playhouse/shed.?

have you tried using a paint stripper? The thick ones are usually the best. Call your local hardware store they can recommend the best for you and give you a price. This way you can compare prices to other places at the same time. Hope this helps. It really makes it a whole lot easier if you got a good stripper. Very little sanding needed, if any.

Depends on the wood. If there is paint or varnish on the wood, you will need to sand or strip off all the old paint/varnish. After you have a clean surface lightly sand the whole things. Use light grade steel wood to finish and make sure all of the debris from sanding is off the desk and out of the room. If you want to stain the wood desk, I recommend Minwax. If you want to paint the desk a bright color or neutral color I would use an enamal paint. Enamel takes a lot of abuse and cleans up nicely.

If you are going to re paint then Al's you need to to do is remove any lose paint!

If you are going to gloss paint it and you are trying to take off emulsion why bother paint over it and use it as an undercoat

Emulsion paint stripper is probably the best way to move it.

Use paint stripper. You can get it from any home improvement store.

Blow torch and scraper.and sander...Nitromose OK for smaller areas but messy and can burn the skin...dangerous around children
