Which Vegas hotel is the best to stay at?

My top choices are the Belliago, Ceasar's, the Wynn and Mandalay Bay. How about Red Rock? We have already stayed at the MGM, three times, so now I need to know where else is hot. And maybe who has the best pool and shopping. Tell me what you think.

Caesars Palace would have the best combination of, very nice rooms, great pool and awesome shopping. I really like the Palace Tower rooms that overlook the pool.

Mandalay Bay has the best pool in LV, but their beds are the least comfortable.

Another possibility for you would be the Venetian, great rooms, very nice pool & the Grand Canal Shoppes.

Ceasar's would be my choice. We are actually staying there in July. It is centerally located and has several pools. The shopping there is amazing!! Our favorite hotel is Mandalay Bay and THE Hotel at Mandalay Bay but they are so far from the action. Their pool is great but the only problem is they opened THE Hotel which is a whole new hotel and they didn't expand the pool area. A couple times they had to close the pool because there were too many people there.

Wynn is the best hotel there among those listed; it is an amazing hotel but Caesars is probably your best choice based on what you are specifically looking for.

The pool is in the shape of a giant Roman Bath and of course in Caesars you have the awesome Forum Shopping Center.

If you choose Caesars make sure you book either the Palace (1996) or the Augustus (2005) towers as both are much newer than the older towers built in the 1960s/70s.

I live within walking distance to the Red Rock and I love that place. While I don't gamble I enjoy the pool, restaurants, clubs and nightlife. They also have the best movie theater in town. The only downside is the Red Rock is about 15 minutes away from the strip. I'm sure the hotel has a shuttle but it would get pretty pricey if you had to take a cab to and from.

Here are a list of the best pools by yours truly....the Neo fish ;) :

    The Palms

    Mandalay Bay

    Monte Carlo

    The Gold Coast

    The Mirage

    Red Rock

If you are looking for the best pool then I would say Mandalay Bay. They have the best pool/artificial beach in town. In my opinion Caesars Palace is the best hotel in town. Has plenty of history to it and the rooms are great. The mall is one of the best in town and they have a great pool area as well.

We stayed at Mandalay and their pool was awesome. It has a wave action. So much fun. The rooms are very nice.

We had a great time there. Plenty of restaurants.

Have a great trip where ever you decide.

red rock is a great hotel, but it's a 20 minute drive to the strip. it's mainly for people who are here on business in that part of town, but want that "strip" feel.

bellagio i think is just too stuffy and old. if you aren't renting a car, caesars ( NOT caesar's...no apostrophe ) is right smack in the middle of the strip. just a 2 or 3 minute walk to just about everything.

My first trip, about three years ago, I stayed at the Bellagio. I was disappointed, For a new hotel, it was run down. I think people stay there in order to say that they did. I liked the Mirage, when I was there last.
