Top Heavyweight boxers of all time. Who are yours?
Over the past week and a half Bluedevil, Smitty, and others have made me realize that some of my rankings were incorrect. Mine are now redone and I would like to see what the rest of you have. I have 23 in my list. If you guys only want to list ten to fifteen that is fine. Thanks.
Smitty is a good answer but I know him as only being great here on yahoo boxing.

Hey Keith this is a very interesting question and I have changed my mind a few times on this topic and it's easy to do. I may rank someone higher than another fighter sometimes based on accomplishments in the ring like Louis holding the title the longest and Marciano because he was undefeated. Of course styles have always made fights and I believe that some could even beat someone higher ranked in a one on one match. That being said, here are my top 10"
1. Rocky Marciano
2. Joe Louis
3. Muhammad Ali
4. George Foreman
5. Gene Tunney
6. Jack Johnson
7. Joe Frazier
8. Larry Holmes
9. Jack Dempsey
10. Evander Holyfield

I could easily add another 20 fighters, none of which would include Mike Tyson. Given the criminal element in boxing, and the political connections of several of Tyson's handlers through out his career, it is entirely possible his first real professional heavyweight fight was in Tokyo against Douglas, a fighter I would rank above Mike in the historical context of boxings best heavyweights.
