She is claiming to be Muslim and Menonite. However she seems to be shimmying around a fair bit according to that article. To be honest she does not act like a Muslim woman and I cannot see how it is she won awards in Arabia which is so strict in these things. But she is Lebanese. The Lebanese like the Iranians take fashion and appearance very seriously and are a lot more easy going than the arabian muslim woman.

By Western standards she is a nice girl but no Muslim girl would do a film sung as she rolls about provocatively in her bed! Unless things are changing much faster than I thought.

But ... Some say she is christian, according to her last name, some say she isn't. Lebanese are pretty iffy about declaring their faith when they become famous. Remember they did have a massive civil war twice in 40 years over religion. Plus I don't think she'd be welcome to so many Eid concerts if she was indeed a Christian.
