I don't believe so, because most people who talk about impeaching Bush say it will only work if Cheney is also impeached. In fact, I've read many posts on political discussion boards where people have said that the only thing that keeps them from jumping on the impeachment bandwagon is the fact it would make Cheney president.

If so it reflects his usual level of incompetence. Besides, the Libby ordeal may see Cheney out of a job much sooner than a presidential impeachment ever arrives. A lot of theorists state that the time for his resignation is now.

That is an interesting idea!
Wouldn't be the first time a leader was betrayed by his second in command!
But unless our systems changes and we have actual dictators seems like a waste of time and energy to attain power for what ....4 or 8 years?????

I wish they'd both go down. As far as whether he deserves to be impeached, if we look at Nixon and the Watergate scandal he at least had the dignity to step down. Bush has done far worse and will probably never be asked to answer for it.

No, that's for ignorant Dems to bleat this year. They always need a mantra to make themselves sound Ignorant for the Cause.

No, it is a monumental waste a time to call for the impeachment of a President who has committed no impeachable offense.
