Well, I'm a dancer and I can help you with your problem. First, practice your turns continuously, go see a friend who dances for some warm-ups. The more you practice the better you'll be. Leaps: practice lunges and spilts and jumping. You'll get better- I swear.

To work on your turns, single and double, a good trick my dance teacher always tells us is to imagine yourself being pulled straight up by a string. It will help you keep your balance and get around easier. also, make sure to spot so you won't lose your focus. oh, and make sure you have a solid prep before you even think about turning. for toe touches, etc, as has already been said, just do a LOT of stretching like splits. good luck!

make sure when you're prepping your turn, your hips and body are square, if you aren't, you won't get around. also keep your whole body (most importantly your center) nice and tight. keep your arms rounded and spot spot spot!
if you're doing doing leaps, always work on flexibility, balance, and strength. keep your toes pointed, make sure you get a nice lunge before so you get high, and land on your toes.
hope this helps! good luck at your tryouts.
