I'm looking for ways to use CHUTNEY in my cooking, any ideas?
If I do a web search I keep getting recipes to make Chutney. I have Chutney (lots of it), just looking for ways to use it.
Thank you!

Hi
I am not sure what kind of chutney you have .... I assume it is a mango chutney .... if so , when you make devilled eggs, you can mix some with mayonnaise and the hard-boiled yolks of the eggs and stuff it all back into the eggs...
...and if you want to go into Indian cooking, Indians use it with a curry -- either a meat curry or a vegetable curry -- as part of a 'thali' (tray) which also has Indian breads (chapathi) and other good things to eat .... like dal soup, a dish of fresh yoghurt to cool down the spices or a pachidi which is a mixture of yoghurt with additions: maybe chic peas or some grated cucumber and spices .... check the web, and find a good Indian website ... my favoite is Saffron Hut ..... the lady has absolutely great recipes and the most beautiful photographs ..... and she is an Indian from Andhra Pradesh (a state in India) who lives with her family in Seattle (if I am not mistaken) ...
Chutney is also very good mixed into a curried chicken salad which is made with pieces of chicken, mayo, apple pieces, raisins, curry powder and little cream or milk mixed with the mayo, ..... and chutney ..... great with crusty bread and a little white wine, if you drink it ...
also if you are sauteeing chicken, you can add it to the sauce .....after you have done the chicken most of the way, remove the chicken from the pan and set aside (keep it warm) and then add things to the pan juices (tip the pan to one side first and take off the fat but leave behind the good juices and any little bits clinging to the pan) like chicken stock, some cream, some chutney, even a little curry powder .... season it to taste, and cook it up a little thick, put the chicken and any collected juices back into the pan and finish it cooking .... serve it with freshly steamed rice and something nice like a green salad with avocado & grapefruit on top .... a side of toasted cashews, and some coconut in a dish ....
