It could be possible that the cook who prepared your food had a stomach virus and the virus was passed to you via contaminated food. A lot of cases of food poisoning are actually caused by an ill chef who didn't wash his or her hands well enough before preparing your food. It could also be a stomach virus that you just picked up somewhere else and the whole eating out thing was just a coincidence. There is really no way to tell what you have unless you go to a doctor and get a stool sample tested, and no way of telling if it was from the food you ate unless you had a sample of that to get tested.
It sounds like you all have a stomach virus, just be on the lookout for any sudden spike in fever, blood in your vomit or stools, dehydration, or any other sudden increase in severity of symptoms which could signal something more serious is going on.
Hope your family is feeling better soon.

If you all ate at the same place, it's possible that you have food posioning. BUT it's also possible that you, your mother, and your grandmother all just have a stomach virus.
If you are inclined to report it, call the restraunt and let them know you got sick (they are required to keep a log of such things).
Take care of yourself, and I hope you and your family feel better soon!

Unless all of you ate at the same place, you probably have a stomach virus.

if you all ate the same thing then it could be food poisoning otherwise it just could be a nasty virus!
